Strengthening tourism ties between China and Hungary 🇨🇳🇭🇺
It was a pleasure to participate in the „New Tourism Opportunities” tourism promotion event in Shanghai, bringing together leading travel professionals, airlines, tour operators and MICE stakeholders from across the Chinese market.
The event provided an excellent opportunity to present Hungary’s latest tourism developments and showcase why Budapest continues to grow as one of Central Europe’s leading destinations for both leisure travel and business events.
From our iconic Danube panorama 🌉 and world-famous thermal culture ♨️ to new hotel developments 🏨, premium visitor experiences and expanding MICE opportunities 🤝, Hungary offers a unique blend of heritage, innovation and hospitality.
Particularly encouraging was the strong interest shown by Chinese partners and the growing momentum created by direct air connections ✈️ between Budapest and seven Chinese cities. Improved connectivity is opening new opportunities for tourism growth, business events and long-term industry cooperation between our countries.
Thank you to all partners, participants and industry professionals who contributed to the success of the event. We look forward to building new partnerships and welcoming even more Chinese visitors, incentive groups and international events to Budapest and Hungary in the years ahead. 🙏
