Hungary’s Minister for Economic Development, has announced that American Airlines will launch a daily direct service between Budapest and Philadelphia starting May 2026. This connection is set to make transatlantic travel smoother and open new possibilities for tourism, business, and cultural exchange.

The timing couldn’t be better: on September 1, 2025, we’re launching the Budapest MICE Fund to support more international congresses, corporate meetings, and incentive events in our city.  With this new U.S. connection, participants will be able to travel to Budapest faster and more conveniently than ever before.
