The aim of the Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau’s team is to strengthen the position of Hungary and Budapest in the meetings industry, realising extensive and up-to-date communication about our MICE tourism offer.

Anna BÉKEFI
Managing Director
As head of the integrated organisation of Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau, also putting her high-level relations at its service, Anna is dedicated to the success of the capital and Hungary as a MICE destination.

David BODOR
Director of Sales
Bringing with him 15 years of experience in the international events industry, David’s role will now be the driving force behind the Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau sales department, ensuring continuous business growth specifically in key industry verticals, while positioning Hungary and its capital Budapest as a go-to destination for international meetings, conferences and business events. Prior to joining the HCB, David has served as regional director for the International Congress & Convention Association (ICCA) and head of The Hague Convention Bureau (THCB). He has moreover successfully consulted numerous organisations worldwide on how to develop, implement and execute destination strategies.

Gabriella BECSEI
Association Sales Manager

Marketing and Events Manager 
Noémi is committed to sustainability, therefore implementing special guidelines when organising events or preparing for participation in international fairs. She is also responsible for the Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau’s membership and is in daily contact with its members.

Katalin HOLUB
PR and Communications Manager
As a member of the Hungarian delegation at the Expo in Sevilla, she had her first opportunity to promote Hungary. After twenty-year experience as a PR specialist, she supports the Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau with her accumulated knowledge of communication.

Research and Statistics Manager
Anna is responsible for research and analysis, evaluating international; domestic trends and studies of the meetings industry and monitoring the International Congress and Convention Association’s (ICCA) research activity, thus providing partners with up-to-date knowledge and statistics.

Mónika GELLÉRT
Chief Financial Officer
With more than 10 years of experience in finance operation, Monika has a wealth of understanding in managing effectively incorporating such a diverse team and operation of the Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau. Monika is a proactive and central contributor as the Financial hub of the Budapest and Hungarian Convention Bureau.

Vivien KURUCSAI
Office Manager
Vivien is responsible for organizing and coordinating administration duties and office procedures in a dynamic and efficient manner. In line with her Office Management duties, Vivien also provides a high level of administrative support to the CFO as well as maintains tasks required by the CFO on a high-quality level.
